Idea Market IV is Monday!
The Fourth St. Louis Idea Market takes place Monday, January 15th from 6–9 pm at the Lucas School House. If you’d like to come, you can sign up here. The evening’s agenda will include:
WOW! HOW? NOW. This is another new “icebreaker” to start the evening. Think about something that you could accomplish this year that would make 2007 a “WOW!” year for you. Share it with others, brainstorm ways to accomplish it, and leave with a concrete “next step” to help you on your way.
Building Collaborative Teams: We are going to try a fun exercise that will get everyone’s creative (and collaborative) juices flowing. Think: spaghetti, string, tape and marshmallows and you’ll get the idea.
Not-For-Profit Brainstorming: A small-group exercise to build the perfect not-for-profit event in St. Louis.
Tell and Show: If any attendees want to tell us about something cool – and then show us how to do it – we’ll have time to do it.
Creating the Solution Space: I started the Idea Market so participants could share their challenges and explore solutions with others. At any time, attendees can share a challenge they have (or one that they’ve overcome) and discuss it with anyone else who’s interested.
There are a few more things I have up my sleeve for Monday night. I hope to see you there!
