Conference Hacks: Don't be Afraid to Hit Rewind

You’ve got a multi-track conference with dozens of great speakers.  It is going great.  In fact, the number one complaint from attendees is that they wish they could see everything, but that there are too many great sessions happening simultaneously.  The solution?

Hit Rewind:  Set aside time at the end of each day to rerun the best sessions from each track.  At the end of each of the day’s sessions, ask a simple question:  “How likely would you be to recommend this session to other conference attendees?”  The highest rated sessions get repeated.  Most presenters won’t turn down the opportunity to speak again (with no or minimal additional preparation) to a whole new audience, and the audience will appreciate your efforts to deliver as much great, peer-recommended content to them as possible.
